Raindrops And Synchronicity

Balcony raindrops with reflections.

It’s been raining cats and dogs here all day today.

Talking about the balcony, here is a funny story about synchronicity from real life.

A few days ago I was on the balcony doing some spring cleaning and I could hear the sound of a youtube video playing inside.

It was the most terrifying screeching laughter I have ever heard. The woman kept laughing and laughing for more than 20 minutes, as another woman was talking to her.
Each time she came with a new laughing fit (which was about every minute), she startled me anew, making me a bit jumpy in the process.

I think she would be a real hit as a Halloween attraction, it felt like those shrieks could cut through rock.

I took a short break because it was difficult to focus on anything as long as she kept being so amused.

Just as I was quietly wondering how it was possible for a human being to produce those sounds, a flock of noisy geese flew past our building and, to my surprise, they sounded almost identical to the cheerful lady from the inside, though not nearly as loud and explosive as her.

It was as if, of all the countless sounds in this world, life itself carefully selected that one that was the closest match to the first one and turned them both on at the same time Β – Β to present me with the most incredible screeching symphony you could possibly imagine.

Nobody could possibly doubt synchronicity anymore after hearing that racket.

That’s a great example of synchronicity, and helps me understand just how screeching the woman’s laugh was, to be like the geese! πŸ™‚

  5. Lovely post! I absolutly adore your photo!
