The Birdman

This picture was taken a few years ago.

It was a special day for many reasons and the encounter with him was particularly meaningful to me.

I don’t normally post photos of other people without their permission, he is an exception. He looked at me as I was taking pictures of the scene and he smiled. He kept feeding the birds and now and then looking at me and smiling.
So it feels like he would be all right with this.

As I was watching the birds and him, I had one of those special shifts in consciousness, when one is suddenly able to see through the veil on the surface of life and into the deeper layers of reality.

It was about the nature of oneness and it was beautiful.

I can see the real happiness in his smile. That’s worth more than anything.

There is something so extremely special about being one with nature. Accepted by a species so different than your own. I am a bird lover myself. I was twice a bird pet owner. The feeling of acceptance by these wonderful creatures is touching beyond belief.

Yes, it’s true about being one with nature. Thanks for the lovely comment, so nice to meat another bird lover. Many people don’t like pigeons for some reason.
