October View

“The secret of life is to die before you die  –  and find that there is no death.”

Eckhart Tolle

For me, October is the time of death  –  all those close to me died in this month.

But that never stopped me from loving it and enjoying its incredible beauty.

Beautiful image, its melancholy mood of grey skies and water brightened by the colourful leaves. I like the empty bench – perhaps you are about to sit down to reminisce about your loved ones, or maybe the bench is a reminder of where they used to sit, and remains empty as they have passed on… You make an everyday autumn scene take on deeper dimensions.

Thank you for your view, I am glad you enjoyed the post. Fortunately October’s somewhat melancholic mood is not in the way of happiness.

  5. A lot of death occurs not only this month but this year but you are right, my friend. Let’s just sit back and enjoy this peaceful moment that you’ve shared in this lovely post.

    Cheers! 😀

Wonderful sideways view over the dead calm waters, beautiful subdued tonalities and nice contemplative mood!Great the role of the diagonal line that sets the boundaries between the space and the deep thoughts. It all depends on the beholder … ,dear Aditix 🙂 xxx

Thank you dear Doda, you say the nicest things. The view from this spot is always beautiful, in all seasons, and it’s awesome in autumn.
I hope you are having a nice fall season so far. Hugs 🙂
