Lilac Time

It`s the lilac time here now.

Here they flower in June, which is later than in other parts of the world.

They are flowering everywhere around right now – pink, white and many shades of purple.

This little village looks beautiful dressed in purple lilacs.

We still have some lilacs in bloom, they seem so brilliant this year.

They flower here in late June or July, they are budding at the moment.

  3. This is a beautiful picture. I like the way you framed this village with the Lilac bush on the side. Great job. Our lilacs were bloomed 2 months ago here in Arkansas.

Thank you – it is a beautiful place to photograph. Yes, in most of other places on Earth spring comes earlier than here.

So lovely. Wish we could grow more of them here. We are very limited.

Beautiful picture! I spent quite a bit of time in May “working” in the very back of my garden to sniff the lilac fragrance coming across the fence from our neighbour’s bush. 🙂

Thank you. Around here lilacs can be invasive, they will grow almost anywhere. But they are still beautiful.
      Happy gardening. 🙂
