Christmas Town

It`s the darkest time of the year, but the streets look magical with all the lights and decorations.

Traditionally this is a season of joy, peace and love, but not judging from the recent news. 😦

I really hope there will be no more calamities this December, we`ve had enough for several years.

Wishing everyone a happy and peaceful holiday season. 🙂

Full summer here in CT. Hot, green, everything blooming – but the grass needs watering. I rarely do this, to save water and because it costs so much.
Happy Friday, and Happy Weekend to you too 🙂

I was just watching the Irish Peace Choir who went to Belgium to commemorate the Christmas peace truce while the first world war was raging. It was wonderful to hear them sing, and what a pity that the truce could not have been ongoing there and then for the soldiers involved, what senseless killing. I like to think of Christmas as a time to wish everyone peace – Peace on earth to all people of good will 🙂 Have a nice weekend too.

It looks like a fairy tale as if the tree decided to wear many many jewels !! I have never seen this decoration on big trees….. Happy Holidays 😀

Thank you. Yes, the streets look beautiful now, there is a magical atmosphere here. How is it where you are Ady? Does anyone celebrate Christmas there or do you have some other holidays at this time? 🙂

      • ady says:

Christmas is celebrated in some parts of the country and also in corporate offices . But we don’t get snow or Santa or real Pine/spruce tree. So,plastic pine trees. But there is a chance that in some states like Goa or nearby states,it is celebrated with real trees and on massive scale similar to ones in your part 😀
