Dandelions

Make a wish.

Apart from wishing that they stay off your lawn, that is.

For some reason dandelions never respond to this kind of wishes…

But they are nice and very healthy. All parts of the plant are edible and they are full of vitamins.

Often used like spinach, in salads, soups and many other dishes and also as medicine for many common ailments.

So if you don`t like them on your lawn, just act as a cow and eat them instead.

When you have cleaned up your own yard, you can move over to your neighbour`s garden and start chewing on some of his weeds.

Soon you are likely to become both healthy and popular in your neighbourhood..;-)

What more could you possibly wish for?

  1. I hope this isn’t a dumb question but can you eat them raw or do you have to cook them first?

You can eat them both raw and cooked. Just google “dandelion recipe” – there are plenty of them to choose from.
