Swan River

Not the swan lake, but the swan river.

Still a beautiful and peaceful place.

I like pictures like this one because they show some of water`s natural texture and beauty  –  the waves, the ripples, the colour, the twisted reflections.

So many of modern, expensive and apparently advanced cameras reduce water into white or bluish mass of some unrecognizable, powdery substance.

This picture is actually a small part of a much bigger, landscape photo and despite having been zoomed in quite a bit, the texture of water still looks so natural.

The swans weren`t very hungry on this occasion, but they did eat a little bit and allowed me to take some pictures.

Thank you dear Sharon, so nice to hear from you again. I hope you have been on some of your nature walks, too, lately and are going to share soon. Your nature posts and pictures are my faves 🙂
