Christmas Town

It`s Christmas time and towns are quite a sight now, with all the Christmas lights and decorations everywhere. Lots of people in the streets too, most of them very busy with shopping.

These three pictures were taken yesterday during a nice visit to town.

Christmas street.

I don`t know why this street looks completely empty of snow, there was snow everywhere else, and plenty of it.

Maybe some Christmas magic…  😉

Fountain of light.

Light pillars have replaced water in this Christmas fountain.

With about 17 hours of darkness daily in this part of the world, towns and streets are a beautiful sight right now, illuminated with all the Christmas lights.

In this town square all the trees were decorated with lights.

I was tired when I returned home but it was a nice trip, which I enjoyed.

There was time, when I was younger, when I stressed myself out, running towards Christmas, trying to do so much, planning for the Christmas future.

But not anymore. I now enjoy the days leading to Christmas at least as much as Christmas itself. I see every moment as equal to others now.

Every moment is Christmas…

Just stop and be here… now.
