Troll Trees

This time, late in November is probably the most disliked time of the year here, in the Northern Hemisphere. It`s the time between autumn and winter, when the vibrant autumn colours have already faded away and the pristine white winter snow  hasn`t arrived yet.

The landscape is barren, the naked trees look spooky and darkness descends upon this part of the world. Here, in the North, there is just a few hours of subdued daylight daily now and just a little bit farther North there is only the darkness.

But this time, just like any other, has it`s own charm and beauty. The atmosphere created by the dense fog, the naked trees and the twilight is simply breathtaking. It`s like walking straight into one of Tolkien`s stories  –  it feels unreal, magical, mysterious and dreamy.

I was captivated by the otherwordly beauty of these November trees, the dark mood and the amazing landscape.

I had a great time walking around and taking pictures in this twilight universe.

Soaking in the magical feel of November.
